Polish President Asks U.S. for Security Help

President Bush pushed forward yesterday with plans to deploy missile defense facilities in Eastern Europe in defiance of Russian objections, just days after Moscow announced that it will pull out of a major arms control treaty in what was widely seen as a retaliatory move.

_________________________________________________________________ So, now here in the Czech Republic, where I live, we are trading off a face-down with good old Mother Russia for what purpose? Possible visa-free entry to the States in two years? Overwhelmingly, Czechs don't want any part of this system, nor does the rest of Europe.
