American Family Association Wants It 'Their' Way
Gay-Marriage Opponents To Boycott McDonald's

A group that opposes same-sex marriage has called for a boycott of McDonald's, saying the fast-food giant has refused "to stay neutral in the cultural war over homosexuality."
The American Family Association (AFA) launched the boycott yesterday because McDonald's joined the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce several months ago and placed an executive on the group's board of directors, in addition to donating to the chamber.
The association asked McDonald's to remove itself from the chamber but the burger-maker declined, leading to the boycott.
"We're saying that there are people who support AFA who don't appreciate their dollars from the hamburgers they bought being put into an organization that's going to fight against the values they believe in," Tim Wildmon, the association's president, said yesterday.
"Hatred has no place in our culture," McDonald's USA spokesman Bill Whitman said. "That includes McDonald's, and we stand by and support our people to live and work in a society free of discrimination and harassment."
In March, the association ended a two-year boycott of Ford after the automaker largely stopped advertising its Volvo, Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles in the gay media. The association also has boycotted retailer Target for substituting "holiday" for "Christmas" in its advertising and the Walt Disney Co. for its "embrace of the homosexual lifestyle."

Well, there you have it for good old 'American family values.' This self-proclaimed, hodge-podge congregation of gay-bashers and values-police has made the choice (for all of us) that buying a Big Mac, Jaguar, Volvo or other Ford product, stepping foot inside Target stores or taking your kids to Disneyland is a no-no.
Let me guess. They all go to church on Sunday and save their racism for the other six days of the week.
I have news for you fascist idiots--America is way ahead of your downward-frowning curve and put that self-appointed family-values stuff way behind them. Poor old Ford apparently thought that caving might save their company, but caving your principles never saves anything.
Interesting though, how those who make the most anti-gay noise (Senator Larry Craig comes to mind) are often caught with their ethical, as well as their actual, pants down.
The AFA defines itself as "a Christian organization promoting the biblical ethic of decency in American society with primary emphasis on TV and other media." Gay-bashing certainly sounds Christian to me.
If they need another target, I would be honored if they would take on me--on all 180 American Family Radio stations, where they spew this filth in 28 states.
