The erosion of reputation under people like Cheney laid the ground for the current administration's total ease with lying. It will take a person of real susbtance to be able to reverse what we have all now come to expect. Maybe Liz will have a hand in that process.

Today's disaster is the awakening of a complicit citizenry, who went along with tech barons taking control of our physical and philosophical lives. Perhaps that's the 'call to dinner.'
