Every Entrepreneur Needs a CEO and Elon is No Exception
The entrepreneurial spirit is that of the inventor, risk taker, go out and make the sale guy or gal, who thinks up a business and rolls the dice. The ones that fail we never hear about. It breaks my heart in my own small neighborhood to see a café, flower shop or dressmaker put everything they own into their dream, and then see the space empty again in a year’s time. That failed dream took all the money they had saved and lost it for them.
So, we’re talking about those who succeed
And who succeeds more publicly than Elon Musk, from time to time the world’s richest man? But Elon’s been having a bit of a rough go lately and none of it had to happen. He’s a widely renowned genius, but his failed management skills are beyond understanding, fueled by an ego that simply cannot forego expressing itself.
I think of Napolean, who once said, “The people to fear are not those who disagree with you, but those who disagree with you and are too cowardly to let you know.”
