Warnings from federal regulators four years ago that antidepressants were increasing the risk of suicidal behavior among young people led to a precipitous drop in the use of the drugs. Now a new study has found that the drop coincides with an unprecedented increase in the number of suicides among children.

It may well be that we can no longer rely on Paxil and Zoloft to medicate our kids into conformity.
The inescapable conclusion is that parents may have to be forced into parenting, actually spending time with their kids, making them a valued part of the family scenario and possibly--although this is pretty radical--get home from the office to have dinner together at an actual dining-room table and find out how their day has gone.
It's a lot to ask, I know.
