Why the Magic of the Epstein Tapes?

We have a convicted felon as a president. A man who continues to take law into his own hands, grabbing both immigrants (and American citizens) off the streets without due process, using tariffs as punishment for any presumed failing of a foreign country, deporting anyone he chooses, and using the military for enforcement.

There are more. Every day there are more abuses of the Constitution.

And yet, the Jeffrey Epstein tapes are the hot topic of the moment? How can the possibility that this man occupying the Oval Office had illicit sexual contact with underage young women possibly be a factor in his ability to serve?

We know he's a sexual predator. He's been found guilty of that in a court of law, and that finding survived appeal. He publicly admitted that his mere celebrity allowed him to grab women by the genitals without recourse. He bragged about barging into the dressing rooms of contestants in his beauty pageants, when many of them were underage and all were naked or partly naked, because "he owned the venue."

Why are the Epstein tapes even an issue?

There are a thousand reasons why this man is not fit to be president of the United States: insider trading, using the office of the president to market personal items for sale, threatening tariffs as a matter of diplomatic engagement, using ICE as a means to illegally deport immigrants and American citizens without trials, withholding funds from universities he personally disagrees with, refusing to allocate funding the Congress has made a matter of law, deciding on a whim to destroy the bureaucracy that operates the federal government, firing democrat department heads, defunding American foreign aid, and threatening to leave NATO...simply to name a few that have cost lives, ruined careers and created chaos.

I failed to mention his selecting the most incompetent Cabinet in modern times.

But the Jeffrey Epstein affair? That's the important news of the day?
